For the last four years Natural Expressions Photography has been honoured at the Australian Bridal Industry Awards. Nominated for the first time in 2005, Natural Expressions Photography were voted among the top Queensland wedding photographers in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and this year were honoured by being placed in the Top 30 wedding photographers Australia-wide with an average rating of 97.37%!
The ABIA's are a much sought-after Award for Australian wedding suppliers as they are determined by the votes of past brides and grooms. Each year the ABIA distributes over 60,000 nomination forms through dedicated wedding suppliers such as Natural Expressions Photography and via their web site, www.abia.com.au. Each year more than 5,600 wedding suppliers are rated nationally.
About the ABIA National Awards
ABIA has now developed a National Awards Program to determine the most consistent and highest ranking wedding suppliers in Australia as rated by past Brides & Grooms. The Academy has combined all of the ratings from all of the brides for all their suppliers, over all states, over the past 3 years and collated all this data to determine the top National Wedding suppliers in each of 39 wedding categories.
How the ABIA National Awards are Determined?
The National ABIA Awards are determined by combining 3 years of bride's ratings for Product, Service, Value and Staff to determine the Average Bridal Rating for each supplier. An ABIA Weighted Index rate is applied to the number of brides who have rated each supplier over a collective period of 3 years. Combining the Average Bridal Rating + The ABIA Weighted Index produces an ABIA Industry Rating. By eliminating the lowest ABIA Industry Rated suppliers through a series of rounds, a final list of Nominees is produced.

The final list of Award Nominees consists of all suppliers who were nominated for an ABIA State Award every year for the past 3 years and achieved an ABIA National Industry Rating of 95% or more.
